Never have this issue with satellite, but i guess i have to use whoever is providing the match. I think European satellite will eventually get 3pm footy back, but that will be because the FA will relax the laws. Time will tell i guess. But i still get loads of tv to watch.
i was thinking of upgrading to better box and motorised set up, for the footy isnt it on anymore?

Looking at motorised satellite set up for EPL 3pm kick offs

        Hi All,
My local boozer is very interested in getting EPL 3 pm kick offs and many other games via european satellites...Nova,Tring etc but not sky uk.
Question is, do you think they are they wasting there money, obviously they are prepared to take a chance in view of the european ruling objecting to sky uk preventing viewing of EPL games via foreign satellites, which sky still say they will enforce with further court cases.
If this is a viable option what receiver would be best suited for this application, we are looking at a 1M motorised dish, they was also contemplating buying a genuine Nova 12 month subscription for ?1295.
I said I would ask all the Sat Guru's on this forum.

Your taking a chance my friend but if your willing to give it a go then thats your choice but that ruling changed nothing apart from losing every single 3pm game from being shown.

It's been said before about the Football it's not the match thats the problem its the premier league logo which is normally in the bottom right of the screen and the music that is copyrighted and no one without a Public broadcasting licence from the EPL is allowed to show it and i highly doubt anyone will get permission.

if your willing to run the gauntlet of being caught and maybe warned a couple of times before court action then that's entirely up to yourself.

          Good Luck

                    found this on another site.
Television sports rights business MP & Silva has trumped larger rivals Abu Dhabi Media (ADM) and Al Jazeera to win a three-year contract to distribute English Premier League football in the Middle East and North Africa.

The Premier League announced the agreement with the international media agency on Thursday, the latest in a series of rights deals expected to bring the League a total windfall of more than 5 billion pounds in 2013 through 2016.

ADM previously held the rights and had been expected to fight hard to retain them, since Premier League Champions Manchester City are owned by Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a member of Abu Dhabi?s ruling family.

Qatar-based Al Jazeera has also been building up its sports broadcasting business, launching channels in France and the United States, and had been expecting to bid strongly for the Premier League rights in its home region.

MP & Silva CEO Andrea Radrizzani said the big two broadcasters did not bid as aggressively as he had feared.

?Our price was quite near what ADM paid in the past,? Radrizzani told Reuters. ?Even though the price was quite high, we thought it was killer content for the region.?

The rights cover all 380 Premier League matches per season and extend across 23 countries from Iran to Morocco, taking in the United Arab Emirates and Egypt.

Having bought the rights, MP & Silva will seek to do its own deals with broadcasters in the region to show live action.

Viewers in some countries may not need to adjust their television sets to receive new channels because MP & Silva plans to negotiate with ADM and Al Jazeera.

The Premier League is the richest in the world in terms of TV revenue and outperforms Spanish and German rivals when it comes to selling overseas.

?There is a lot of appetite for football and the Premier League is the best league in the world,? said Radrizzani.

?The format is very good for the region in terms of time slots at the weekend,? he added.
