    SAT receiver. Community choice

Hello I am quite new to satellite world and I would like to know what sat receiver is the best one to own and easy to use.
The box must have ethernet port and support CCCam/Mgcamd/MPCS.
I personally own openbox s9 hd pvr which I didn't buy by myself, the man who connected dish gave it to me. I really don't like it because it's very complicated to make favourites on it and it can record only 1gb (then it starts another video file which goes up to 1gb again), basically interface is very poor IMO. In general it is very buggy and slow, despite it isn't a clone because I did install new original firmware on it.

the linux boxes support mgcamd as well as cccam and newcamd

the closed source boxes dont support mgcamd

as most people use cccam or newcamd so any box already recommended will do the job

but if you really want mgcamd support then its linux only

most recordings will be in 1 gig chunks anyway and you even see this on vobs on a dvd, you cannot expect one long continuous recording that is several gigabytes in size, especially as fat32 wont allow it

no idea what you mean by MPCS and a google search says its :-

        Acronym Definition
        MPCS Microcapillary Protein Crystallization System
        MPCS Minnesota Prairie Chicken Society
MPCS Ministry of Prisons and Correctional Services (Namibia)
MPCS Monterey Peninsula Choral Society (Monterey, CA)
MPCS Mission Planning & Control Station (software)
        MPCS Multi Party Connection Subsystem
        MPCS Multiple Payload Communications Satellite
        MPCS Multi-Purpose Display Station
        MPCS Moderator Primary Coolant System
MPCS Multiplex Control System (automotive engineering)
MPCS Member of Parliament Correspondence Section (UK)
        MPCS Microprocessor Controlled Stitcher
MPCS Massachusetts Personal Computer Services, Inc.
