I have this bad boy in my way unfortunately ImageUploadedByTapatalk1347384549.377082.jpg

Isn't causing a problem with anything past 4.8e. Me thinks I'll have to move the dish over a bit to this partImageUploadedByTapatalk1347384607.664955.jpg

yeah move it,you want a clear as possible view of the southern sky.
also consider putting the motor on a piece of scaffold pole thats mounted on a pair of T&Ks.

        (ramjet beat me to it.)
dick, have only ever used a motor or single`lnb dishes, looking at your drawing the lnb is at the opposite side of the multi lnb holder to what i thought
can you explain how that works?
ollie2012uk i would move the dish above the roof line and would use 3 t&k brackets its amazing how strong it will be and it looks to be at the back of the house if i get a chance i will take a pic at the weekend of mine to show you

ps dick how do you upload a pic?

Hi there blueflash. Someone explained it to me that its like kicking a football at a wall, so whatever angle you kick the ball at it will come away from the wall at the exact opposite angle to what it was kicked at. so if you wanted say 19 east 28 east and 39east on one dish and 28 was the prime focus, then 39 east would be where 19 east would be and 19 east where 39 east would be. As its the beam bouning off the dish to the lnb at an angle. hope this helps. btw it might have been dick b who learn,t me this fact.

Moved today. Re sat the mount with some washers as was a tad out on the level. Re did the motor on the dish and set to 0 went in and it literally picks up everything I point it at!!

                        Hi Blueflash234,

Looks a good solid install just an observation but why did you go with 1 K and 2 T's and what's happening with the 'U' bolts thats a pretty novel way of fastening them.

                        Looks good Though well done.

I would seriosly consider getting the 90cm Fibo out of the garage and installed if setup correctly it could give you better performance than your 1m orbital, the 1.3m Fibo is a fantastic dish and still command top dollar on a certain auction site
