Strange motor problem with Blade combo

Got a strange problem....every now and then when changing satellite the motor sticks between satellites. When I go outside the motor has no light - no power going to the dish. After a while when I restart the box it just seems to work. However, it seems to be happening more often now.

Any ideas of the cause? I tried an old dm500 and it couldn't move the dish either

Sounds very much like a cabling problem with it being an intermittent fault, If you can and it is easy to achieve do a visual inspection of your cable as well as unscrew the 'F's on both ends and see if you have any loose strands.

Cheers. I can't reach the dish but everything looks ok at the box end. Very frustrating

Might be water ingress maybe ??

Could also be your motor is starting to go.

Cheers for the replies. The motor is only 16 months old, surely it should last longer. Plenty of rain up here but I was assured it was watertight

Started working again just there. Bizarre!
