    Omni Link

I bought an Omni link to send my remote control signal through to another room. The remote control now works fine in the other room unfortunately the quality of the signal to the other room is now substantially worse - has anyone any idea as to what I can do? If not do you think buying an infra red remote control signal sender would give better results?

My receiver is a Technomate 5402.

Try changing the RF modulator output on the 5402 as standard its set to 40 but you can change it to any value between 21 and 69, Stay clear of your Digital Muxes for your area so as not to allow any interference

Ah thank you. I have tried that but does not help. The quality of the TV was very good before I added the Omni Link - I think it maybe due to the fact that I had to have an amp to get the RF signal to work and this is probably intefering with Omni link.
