Time to upgrade - Advice and suggestions

    Hi All,

I posted this earlier but it didnt seem to post ?

I have a VU+ Solo connected to Motorised 80CM Dish with a standard LNB, I was just wanting to get some advice on upgrading my dish.

I initally bought cheap as I wasnt too sure what to expect but now I am happy I am willing to invest a bit more.

The main channels I am having problems with is TV2 PL1,2,3 HD, I am able to pick these up with a SNR of 55%, if any overcast or rain appears it will go off, if it drops below 55% then I lose them.

I was thinking of upgrading to a Triax TD110, I am stuck on what LNB to get, Im not to sure what the difference is between 0.1db and 0.2db etc

I have about ?120 to spend but I can stretch to ?150 before the missus beats me to a pulp :/.

Also, what would I need to get Viasat PL Channels ?

I am in Belfast. Northern Ireland.

    Cheers

lnbs that use a seperate feedhorn are a bit specialised.most of what we call lnbs are in fact lnbfs with a built in feed horn.inverto black ultra lnbs are one of the best,I"v found a 5% signal increase compared to a smart lnb I replaced(not a proper test just an observation)
