Looking for some help regarding Multi LNB

    Hi Folks.

Hoping for some advice here. Currently have a 60cm zone 2 dish with dual LNB feeding 2 receivers in 2 different rooms. Dish pointing at 28.2E. All working fine.

What I want to do is to setup a Multi LNB (13E, 19.2E and 28.2E) for one of the rooms. Was going to just put up a second dish with a multi LNB and leave the original dish for the other room which just needs 28.2E only.

Slightly clueless when it comes to diseq switches etc. But got thinking that if I set up my Multi LNB on my existing 60cm dish with a dual LNB for the 28.2E that this would suit my needs?
I'm thinking that I would use one feed from the dual LNB on 28.2E going directly to say room 1 and the second 28.2E feed along with the 2 other feeds into a diseq switch and then into room 2? It makes sense to me but maybe someone could verify that for me!

Also, could anyone recommend LNBs, Multi LNB bracket and switch for this job?

I also have an Orbital 1m dish sitting in the shed. Hoping I can get away with the 60cm dish.

    Thanks.

I would probably be inclined to use the orbital 1m in the shed compared to the 60cm, better rain fade margin on the 1m also gives you scope in the future to add extra lnb's if required, why not get twin feed lnb's to replace the lot and so not limit one room to just 1 satellite this way both rooms would be equal.

For the price of the LNB's and the and 1 more diseqc switch it has to be worth it.

Cheers digicon. I had the orbital dish set up with a motor before but I am in an exposed area and the wind was effecting it so I took it down. But maybe if I am setting it up in a fixed position, I can figure out some ways of securing it better.

I see what you mean about twin feed lnb's. Does that mean I should then use 2 switches? One for each receiver?

Yes you will need a switch for each receiver that requires multi sat.

For LNB bracket I would suggest DIY from galvanized stuff. Very easy to make (LEGO for adults), cheap and reliable, possible to make any multifeed.
