Long time lurker, first time poster in need of help please.
I've installed a new dish / monblock lnb and connected it to my existing htpc (tbs 6891 dvb-s2 card). The problem i have is there is no signal from the lnb to the PC unless i leave my cheap konig satellite finder connected in the cable run. With the satellite finder connected i have a very strong / high quality signal to 19.2e and 13e. If i disconnect the finder and plug the lnb cable directly into the dvb card, no signal, nothing.

I've re-terminated the cable ends a number of times, i've tried a coupler and a short length of pre-made cable inside of using the hd100 straight into the PC but not works without the finder attached.
