    Skybox M3

Okay........I started a new thread because I needed specific answers that I couldn't find anywhere, and because I know little about what I am doing

    1. When I scan any satellite, the results appear to be the same for every one, so the question is........is my box searching a preset list?

    2. I have done a lot of research, and some of the satellite channels I have specifically looked for are not on the satellites that they are listed as being on. i.e. BBC World news, can't find that one, so the question is..........where can I get it from...in the clear.

    Thanks for helping

Hmmm, 0.8 thats Thor.........well I input all the data on the TP and channel list, then did a search and it still comes up with the same channels as if I am looking at an Astra 28.2 The dish is still pointing at Astra, but the box is telling me its searching Thor 3/5/6..........so am I being blonde here or what...well I am a after all

if the dish is pointed at astra 2 at 28.2 east , then that is all you can scan for and use

selecting a different satellite is pointless as you need a motorised dish for that to work (as I said in my first reply to you)

a motorised dish would send it to 0.8w thor, and then, and only then , would you scan for thor channels

little point scanning for thor channels from 0.8w if the dish is pointing at astra 2 at 28.2 east is there ?

doesnt matter which satellite you scan, all you can ever get is 28.2 east astra 2 on your fixed dish

so yes, its a "blonde" moment

You know.........we all have these moments, hahaha, thanks for being gentle with me,

Okay, I kind wondered if that was the reason for the same channels all the time, sorta looking at the same picture with a different name on I suppose, the picture will always be the same. I need to look in a different direction then I will see a different picture!!

          Better get a motor then.......

          thanks
