    Need new box

    Hello all

    I have a humax foxsat 500gb which is very nice however, I cant get Dave, Quest, Pick etc. I know my box will not get these channels so, please can you recommend some alternative boxes HD/PVR that will retain the channels I currently have and more. Im looking for user friendly as this is for my missus really.

    In fairnessthough, she probably knows more about this stuff than I do.

    Thank you

    as a lot of channels are encrypted with sat only a sub to sly or go for a twin tuner original box like a vu duo a very well supported box with twin tuners and can have an internal and external hdd,other side is you are going to have to go down the card sharing route,i would suggest you google card sharing and cccam for info as its a banned subject.

    or if to just view channels maybe a blade single tuner box

      Hi catikid, thanks for the reply. It was just the free channels I was after. Do I need to card share for Dave, Pick, Quest then?

      I thought (although I could be wrong) that these chanels were generally available on some of the open sat boxes (like Technomates) without card sharing?

      If so, then what would be a good one that does both free-sat as well as the above mentioned channels.

          @donge

          The openbox or Skybox F3 is great value for money and has a nice wee media player to use as well.

            i believe a card of the bay will open those channels, a one off buy, i would go for a tm 5402 easy to use good picture external hard drive but works well, am using a tm 6902 for freeview with a external hard drive and that works really well
