how many co-ax's do i need?

Right i have just bought a quad LNB so i know i need 4 for that.

the technomate motor i have bought says it is co-ax powered so am i right in saying that i need 5 co-ax's in total from the dish to reciever?

No just 1 from box to motor, 1 from motor to LNB and then you have 3 on LNB to supply other rooms and boxes.

cheers mate so from the box ill have 4? ill be using one box with a triple tuner, shoulda added that before.

and 2 from lnb direct to box , gives you 3 coax feeds in total

use a scaffold bar. most do.
I myself use a bar from an old trampoline
