Hi have just bought alien 2, thought anyone looking to buy a new box might be interested to know, very nice box for the money easy to set up, access to my pc streaming 720 mkv no probs havn't tried 1080 yet will let u know.
recording straight to pc, even hooked my sony xperia in through android app to act as a remote.
I am using the sparks boot, again not tried the enigma but will repost when i have.
to be honest was a bit worried about this box as not many people had much advise on it but i took the gamble and so far am very impressed.

They are great boxes and the enigma 2 images are improving slowly.

The spark firmware is good enough for me and the picture quality is superb. The epg is not the best but Im sure this can be fixed with a future update.

Overall they are great value for money and you will struggle to find anything as good in this price range.

Quality box for the price.
Running fine on Spark.
Runs Oscam fine, along with Cccam if required.
Epg not great. Needs work.
Enigma2 side needs lot of work yet.
But Spark works fine so no need for the Enigma2 side in my opinion.

Overall Great box, Great price. No sales pitch.

i have one of these for testing for some months now and i find spark crap you might aswell have a openbox what good is 2 tuners using spark firmware? how do you set a recording for say 2 days time?

if the enigma 2 is not sorted or a epg for spark they are a useless box and will be a door stop soon enough,i do not see the sense in having a twin tuner that you cant set to record

I have one of these boxes I only have one problem after about 5 or 10 minutes the line starts to freeze first for a bit but then gets worse. Enigma the same line works fine any ideas.

Use Enigma then....problem sorted

Myself, i am using the Spark Image & using Oscam as the client & it's rock solid
to be fair.

There was some freezing using CCcam as client but it was ok in my opinion but it's
more solid using Oscam instead with sealion.

Question to OP - I am considering buying this.. I saw some posts saying that the box crashes when you tried to view a channel while recording another?! Did u try this? Was it successful..? If its not it beats the purpose of having multiple tuners! PLease post
