Hitting Satellite Signals

this is new to me so bare with me. (also Dyslexic so may sound funny)

Been getting the signal Astra 28.2, just by pushing the dish about a bit.. but i tried to get a better signal by putting it in the correct place of 28.2deg east of due south and i got i think Astra1 and with a nudge Hotbird2 (or whatever its call now)

So is it possible to get all 3 signals off one dish.. i guess might have to be bigger. Just out of Hope to get it all and just Leave it along if it has all 3 and i can have some peace and get on with my stuides

just reading the post before me about getting more signals than they were expecting .. so i guess it is possible.. just wounder what size DISH now.. i only 60cm at the moment but can go for bigger .. but not AIRPORT bigger !!

So wounder what side dish would be best now

OK m8 yes it is possible to pick up a few sats with one dish which requires a multi lnb block on the end and usually a 1 meter dish so picking up 13 east 19 east and 28 east is possible, but ya best off getting yaself a h-h motor, lot more for you to learn

so it is ONE LNB for one Satellite.. but can use One Dish with MULTI LNB then

mm best i could do with the DISH was put it on a OUTHOUSE roof.. (pebble Dash house)
and looking at the 1.1m dish they dont have Air Vents as far as I've seen so far
So a Dish of 1.1m free standing, is a Sail
So in that case would it be .. trying to catch two (astra1[25.5] + 2[28.2]{Diffence of [2.7]}) on a 60cm dish
and maybe a extra dish for the Eurobird2 [23.5] {as the diffenece with Astra1 and Eurobird2 [2]}

also got the Elevation angles Astra2 23.7 Astra1 25.3 and Eurobird 24.7
{diffenece between Astra2 and Eurobird2 [1] and Astra 1 [0.6]}
If you cant catch 3 Satellites with 60cm dish... even tho there isnt that much diffence between them all but over distance 1deg into space is a lot
So over 2 Dishes say .. one for Astra2 and Eurobird/Astra1 Shair one with only been 0.6 Degree in elevation and only 2 degrees in angel.
IM ONLY THING OUT HERE OK.. so need explaing why not .. im guessing that the Distance of just being inbetween the Difference is too great over the miles and miles to the satellites

It's really quite easy you can bodge yourself a bracket out of stuff you can get at a DIY store or ebay will have a multi lnb bracket that will suit your needs.

DiSEqC Satellite Dish Combiner

Love the Multi LNB photo .. couldnt see the switch you are on about

Just looking at that Picture of teh Multi LNB, and the satellites they are using
is that due to what they can get as they are tightly packed up
just wounder if my hope of getting 28.2E and 25.5E are too close together for the LNB to be next to each other

Yeh they are too close together normal setup would probably be 13 east, 19 east and 28 east with maybe 4.8 on the fringes. If you get the lnb's and bracket you can experiment with what is possible on your dish and buy more accordingly.
