channel probs

morn guys. not a techie so here goes. when i go to some channels, a message comes up saying SID NOT IN PAT what does it mean ? some of these channels i would like, but dont want to mess around with my box. any help appreciated. thanks in advance. alex.

Basically it means service id or channel is not found in transponder. Do a rescan of satellite or download latest channel list.

or wait until the channel is actually transmitting (you will get this with premiere before 1000am)
