Struggling Sir Thor alot

Hi. I'm absolutely jiggered, I've got a technomate 6800HD, 1m dish, Diablo cam lite and cas 3 programmer. I can get a range of sats both east and west of south but can?t get thor fo the life of me. I get channels on the sat either side of Thor and ie. 4w amos and 4.8e Sirius but 0.8w Thor gets nothing. I've put a sat meter on the dish and can find a strong signal between Amos and Sirius but can?t get any signal to show on technomate, (the signal bar remains red instead of turning blue and yellow for level and quality, although the meter is screaming its head off). Has anyone had any similar problems setting up? I was happy enough when I could get the technomate and Diablo to open channels on other sats, but I can?t get anything to open at all, and I believe the only thing left for me is to get Thor to work. Do you receive any signal from turksat? Im asking that so i can tell if you dish is meetin the clarc belt all the way..
Try using another transponder on your receiver as there is alot of dead transponders
