finding channels

Hi,

I have recently changed my reciever, have not moved the dish, but the new one will not find all the channels I had before, it is set to astra 2 but hardley any freesat channels apear. Probaley a simple solution.

Wounder if there is a break in the cable/its not connecting to the box any more
But then again you say HARDLEY ANY FreeSat Channels so must be ok there.. (would a filter upset some Freq)

Hi. Problem may be due to your new receiver not having up to date frequencies you can try one of the following:

a) Make sure receiver is set to sat FREESAT 28.2 EAST

b) Get a copy of latest channel list for your model.

c) Do a BLIND SCAN if available - this will tune in the frequenices automatically for you.

If the above fail then check cables and dish alignment etc.
