Amiko alien 2 7day epg help.

Hi all. It's been awhile since i last been on here

I just recently purchased Amiko alien 2. It's a nice little twin tuner box.

Im jut wondering if anyone out there in community has manage to get a 7day epg with sly uk with spark firmware.

Any info / guide much appreciated

There is only a 7 day epg on the E2 side of this box using the crossepg plugin, the spark side only has the very basic now/next epg similar to an openbox.

I think they are still in the early days at the moment for E2.

I havn't tried one yet but i believe the latest one has a chance of being stable & you can get the 7 day guide then aswell.

I might give it a try tonight.

I am on spark at the moment & to be fair, it's pretty stable, escpecially when using the Oscam as client to view certain channels.
Just no 7 day guide but just for watching tv, it's solid.

sattvhelp_stm24_0211_beta_1.00 this is the latest AFAIK and I have tried it and it is good but I do prefer the Spark side.

I try to find it use good google but I don't what it is but prefer spark aswel. Hopefully a 7day epg plugin comes out for it

Cross EPG Plugin for Amiko Alien working

Just installed the crossepg-plugin_v0.6.2 today works on spark for the amiko alien. It supposed to last for 3 days so might have to update it every couple of days. But its a lot better than then and now.

@Hallo18 did you actually get the epg to work properly? and if so how, are you sure this works? as AFAIK although the plugin is available for a while now it still was not working 100%

I'm in the same boat, never ever got it working on the spark side even though I've had a few goes at it.

i had one of those boxes fiitc ,, imo if you want a box like the dm800 buy a dm800

Didn't want one, so didn't buy one.

Don't have a Amiko either but use spark on another box.

Isn't part of the fun of this hobby getting things to work and messing about with them, if it wasn't would have bought a plug and play box.
