    Sky Dish

I have a sky dish on the side of my house. After looking for the cable run from it I notice the 1) there are 2 cables running from it 2)the cables have been cut.

If I want to rerun these's cables to another part of the house do I need to use bother cables when using the dis.

    Thanks in advance.

Not sure what the last line means but if you mean can you make a join to the existing 2 cables then yes, with the use of 'F' connectors and 2x barrel connectors you can extend the cables where ever you like

one cable for each tuner in the satellite box

if its a sky plus hd box you can set the box to single tuner mode and use one cable, or if you have a twin tuner box use both cables like a standard sky plus HD box uses

so if you had a single tuner box in the bedroom, use one cable of the two (any will work)

The 2 feeds are for a dual tuner receiver if you only have a single feed receiver the you only need the one feed

So by using both cables then are we saying that 1 cable could be routed to say the front room and the 2nd feed to the bedroom?

there will also be 2 spare feeds from the lnb on the dish itself, which can also be utilised too (a quad lnb = 4 feeds)

Ah yes I think thats the question I should have asked the lnb has the cables, however before they enter the house they have been cut. But i get the idea behind it. Thanks to you both for your input it has helped me to a point on decided which option to take.
