Hi

I am trying to set up my diseqc switch 2x1 ?

I have a motor set up and a fixed dish pointing at 28.2e

Please can some one help ?

I have had it very close to working i think

A guide would help very much

cant tell you the specifics for a dm800 so check the dreambox forum

but put the motor feed on A or 1 and the fixed dish on B or 2

have committed set to 1 for all the satellites except 28e and 2 for 28e

you may have to set uncommitted to 1 as well

never personally tried this on a dreambox but have my spiderbox working this way except I use a 4 way switch and have 28e on C or 3 (3rd input) with the motor on A or 1 (1st input)

the common feed goes to your receiver

the problems with a dreambox is all the complex settings in satellite setup as you need to tell the switch which option to use for each satellite, A or B and they generally expect you to use simple diseqc or advanced motorised instead, not a combination of both at the same time

but messing about with commit and uncommitt should achieve what you require

as I said, you really need somebody who has done it on a dreambox, but you havent posted in the dreambox section

I think a dreambox uses AA , AB , BA , BB for the committed on a 4 way looking at your pictures, so would think the motor is AA on 1 and the dish is AB on 2 , or something like that

you need to work out that sequence of a 4 way switch in terms of AA etc and then discount the third and fourth and use the first 2 options, one for the motor and the other for the dish

On your tuner configuration you have to setup as Advanced and set all your motorised satellites as Diseq 1.2 and at the very end you can set the 'Use USALS for this sat' if motorised feed is in 'A' set all of these to AA and when you come to 28.2 just set as Diseqc 1.0 and 'BB'

Its quite simple really as i have the exact same setup at the moment on my Uno i have a motorised feed going into switch A and a 28.2? feed going into B, the only difference is i have all my sats setup as Diseqc 1.2 and there positonal number.

If your Dark Motor in your signature was setup with USALS then all you have to do is what I mentioned previously.
