Hi there,

I am based in the UK, South East, does anyone know why we can't pick up or get a good signal on 43W? I have looked at lots of different threads but not found an answer, what to try and pick up the Spanish speaking channels.

Just wondering if we need a different LNB or something?

you would need a c-band lnb and something in the region of a 2.4-3m for reliable recieption not to mention most of the channels are encrypted in powervu,regards mdt

you system is fine for most european dth satellites and some feed/turnaround birds but the satellite your after is for cable head end feeds , dth to n/s america and trans-atlantic satellite hops, not to mention the weakness of the c-band footprint. there are other spanish channels on satellites your system can recieve both fta and encrypted and with the correct addon and friend you can get most of them.regards mdt
