Help in Glasgow area needed

I am looking to see if there is anyone in & around the Glasgow area who could help me out here , I have just bought a vu + duo box but for some reason I just can't get any signal from my dish ? I have tried two different lnbs moved the dish from east to west not picking up a thing the signal strength is moving from say 0 to 10 back to 0 then could go up to 75 ? Also I have a st Andrews 1-2 m dish so I can only think of either the cable is cut or the positioned is done . Could some one please either give advice or if looking for homer then let me know

Did you have another receiver set up to your 1.2 dish before you plugged the Vu receiver in? If it was working before then maybe youll need to check in the Vu settings menu that the lnb power is switched on
