As a newbie can someone make it clearer.
I like many get my line from a uk server are sly going after the the way the server supplies us the line? for instance the cards the servers use?Comment

They're apparently changing the way cards are paired to boxes, making it harder, probably not impossible, to use the cards in a CS servers.
There's a private fix for how VM do this, so possibly a fix for when sky implement this, but how knows for sure?
Everything is hearsay and speculation at the moment, as with all previous clamp downs on 'free television' you'll know exactly what's happening when it happens.Comment

just because 'a fix' exists on one system does not make it any more likely 'a fix' will exist on another, completely different system.
the most honest answer anyone can/will give right now is I/We don't know. We won't know EXACTLY what's going on I suspect until maybe a couple of weeks (possibly longer) after we have started experiencing the full effects - until the real "hackers" have had a chance to work out whats what.
until then, any suggestions can be taken with a pinch of salt as the only people with the information we seek are not likely to divuldge their secrets
