thanks i will google it. i have in the meantime managed to get things sorted using the remote. because i have made my sv box into a spiderbox i'm not sure what i can and can't do with it. do i take it that it is possible to ftp my sv/spiderbox then?
          thanks

Googled it and have a couple of questions:
1 can you recomend a program to ftp for spiderbox? (i have read somewhere that it can't be done with the spiderbox because it is a closed box?)
2 if there is a program, is it just for sending settings or does it do other things? i.e i have manually entered settings via rc, what are the bennifits of ftp besides sending settings quicker?

sorry if the questions seem a bit daft, just trying to get my head around it. if anyone could point me in the direction of a basic tutorial or something i would be grateful.

              Thanks
