Thinking about getting a new receiver

I've been using a couple of Openbox S11s for the last year or so. Got an opportunity to put a Slingbox in a Datacentre, so I was thinking of treating myself to a new main box for home.

I only watch $ky, want a PVR with a good EPG and the Sky Channel numbers - ideally that can "look after itself."

Any other bells and whistles are superfluous... Anyone got anything to recommend, both regards to hardware and image?

Thank you - I know nothing in this world is self supporting - I suppose I should have said, I just want to watch TV - not experiment...

projucer the only box like that is an offical s*y viewing box mate, every one of the aftermarket ones reuire work and is a hobby not just a simple one set up and go thing im afraid mate

You say that - but my Openbox's dont take much work - scan and a channel list update every month and that's been it....
