Looking to change to sat side with my HD Combo..what is the latest software required and any advise on a descent motorised set up would be greatfully appreciated.

if you dont require the cable side put I WAS BORED ONE DAY from the sv section onto it converting it to a spiderbox, then put the last mar2012 9000 firmware on it from the spiderbox mandatory patches thread, add a recent spiderbox channel list and recent spiderbox HDsoftcam and you are good to go

get a dish like a triax td88 or td110 (or a gilbertini) , darkmotor and an inverto ultra black lnb

Thanks for the advise much appreciated, I have located Carling+_F531_1207 which i think is ( i was bored one day ) but having trouble locating spiderbox firmware u mentioned, any help pointing me in the right direction would be great.

carling isnt the I WAS BORED ONE DAY file m8

that is in the sticky threads of the starview forum (at the top)

the spiderbox firmware is in the mandatory patches thread just below this thread

thinking now the cable side is closed source and not open like as the sat side is with alternative firmware combo +lan is.
