Firstly i am unable to locate a better place for this thread, so if i have asked the wrong section, please accept my apologies. As a few of you know, i have a pc based satellite system. Its slowly coming together and the learning curve is at first a bit daunting...but i keep at it. Anyway, my question is about DVBViewer. When i change channels on my main pc ( this pc has the pci card etc ) The channel looks scrambled, as though i am missing a codec or something. Now i know that the picture is not scrambled as i can broadcast it over my LAN, and with using VLC player on my wireless laptop the picture is superb. Also sometimes When messing channel hopping, the pc seems to grind to a halt until the mouse is not doing anything ! I then cannot even use Task manager..
I have to hit the reset button and restart the pc...surely this is not good ? Any advice from experienced users out there would be really great....many thanks
