    Skybox loop out

Hi there guys hope someone can help with this question. I know its possible to use the loop out of an old skybox to the lnb input of a openbox x3 but what i want to know can i have both recievers on at the same time or will the extra voltage overload the lnb and damage it. many thanks for any replys.

No theres no motor, ts just going to a 60cm skydish with a single lnb output to an old skybox. The reason the old sky box is staying is that from the rf output there is a cable going to the attic to a 6 way splitter going to other tvs with digi eyes. i just want to know would it be ok to have the 2 boxes on at the same time when using the loop out to the openbox x3?????

yes you can have both on at the same time but will be restricted to watching the same polarity as the main box is on.

Use a Triax tri link from the openbox to modulate signal up to splitter in the attic, this also works with magic eyes.
