is newcs the same as newcamd

had a share from a guy and says it works better on newcard that ccam , l looked all over and couldnt find newcamd so l installed newcs/camm2.14 and it works and seems ok now . are they the same ?

from what i can gather there different as newcs reads the card and c**am does the other bit whereas newcamd does both... of course i could be wrong as im far from an expert in these matters but im sure others will confirm for you. regards mdt

Basically you been given a N: Line

newcamd takes less data then CCCam,

You either add it to CCcam.cfg in CCcam

N: myfriend.dyndns.com 15000 myname mypass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

or

Newcamd.list in Mgcamd

CWS = myfriend.dyndns.com 15000 myname mypass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

it still exists but most people use mgcamd now to read n-lines... i think theres v5.25 and v6.10,regards mdt

let us know if your sorted,also there in the keys folder there should be a mg_cfg file which mite need editting...

all working now lads have 2 on there but need away to see them now , l cant use the webbrowser now , wots the best way to see if there on or off , like to see both at one time to see if u get me

l could just leave in ccam info and turn that back on and check on web tho , but wondered if theres another way

Tbh only use web browser with CCcam,which all you do is add your lines too cfg file,only way with mgcamd is log file
