Help on what satellite receiver to buy

    Hi all,

I am just posting to ask what any of you think would be the best box for me to go for based on the requirements below.

What I wish to be able to do on the new box is:

1./ Be able to blind scan, and the box to have good results with blindscan.
2./ Can run the usual cams, not sure if I can name them here as it might be against the rules.
3./ Is at the most ?150.

I am not too bothered about whether or not the receiver has slightly buggy software.

Thanks to anyone who posts their opinions.

tm5402hd or dr-hd f15 both have excellent tuners, are patchable for the usual stuff thats open with keys and will run C or N without issue also. you can get a tm5402hd for ?130 if you shop around and the dr-hd f15 is ?150. both these boxs are closed source, regards mdt
    DM800HDSE SIM 2.10. SSL84D OPEN-ATV ORBITAL 80CM/DARK MOTOR/IBU/53E-30W

Thanks for the quick and thorough response. I see that you have the Dr HD box, have you noticed any channels locking on that, that would not normally lock on your Vu+ box?

      Thanks
