The reason they are half the price is that they have not been modified to run enigma 2 and is basically just a provider box unable to do anything else unless you can read polish and are really good with a soldering iron. As for it being a starter box, thats also a no go you need some knowledge of enigma 2 and oscam to set it up properly.

Go onto the Sataid forum there is info there. The box does come in English and the reason for cost is that they have to have a lot of wires soldered, reprogram a chip to receive Enigma 2, then have the image flashed and get it working. The 3 month guarantee is on his work. The box itself is great once working but it will be a steep learning curve. hi i did buy the box, channel lists easy to install with dreambox edit etc, and i use dcc to ftp to box, picture quality is good and with the new openpli image crossepg works, couldnt get it to work with other images. had a few minor issus, when you restart the box i have had to manually restart the network but no big deal i suppose. only other problem is i cant get it to move my motorised dish, playing around trying to fix it now, not sure if its the enigma images as i just tried the same on an amiko alien 2 and same result

Cable 1 from Motor to LNB IN 1 on nBox
Cable 2 from LNB(Misses motor) to LNB IN 2 on nBox

In tuner setup menu
Tuner B is actually LNB IN 1
Tuner A is LNB In 2

They are switched around in the software only - so keep your cabling the same as any other setup. Quote end

On the nbox 5800sx? If it is the Nebula Zero v2 image has it built in. You go into Crossepg settings, Into configure and ensure Harddisk is chosen or USB. Also choose update every hour in standby if you want to. Then go into your OpenTV provider. Choose 28.2 Sly and download. Then go into download and this can take a while. Once done reboot and it should work but go back into Crossepg settings and ensure you have harddisk chosen.

Before doing all this ensure you have setup your tuners and configure them with Sly 28.2 info. You get stuck give me a shout.

As to the above post from Portbhoy - Oscam is easy to setup and it does work but I use Oscam 4158

Thanks , iv got openpli with oscam alreasy set up , may try Nebula Zero v2 at some piont but may need a hand. , is it easy to change images and set the new images up on nbox twin box ? Thanks.

hi when you were loading channell list wit d/bedit did you use dreambox as the password as i have one and it wont let me send channell list to it . cant connect

have you got 2 feeds into back of receiver from dish also you have to tune both tuners in for it to work.same thing happened to me, supplier only tuned one tuner in,hope this helps.jim
