Problem with picture on dreambox 800HD.

I've just recently bought one of these box's and the guy says its getting signal ok but picture is all in squares. Im just wondering what the problem could be I haven't received it as yet to test or sort out so im just looking around first for a quick answer if poss. The guy says he dont know if its the image he put on or a hardware problem. Cheers in advance.

But I have noticed thst in the pic the image says vu duo at the bottom of the pic so im just wondering if it just the wrong image he put on it. Or the tuner thst needs replacing?

seems like its 2 things to me

1) tuning issues

2) wrong image as you say

it needs flashing with the correct image (a real image or clone image depending if its a real dm800 or a clone)

then add catseye channel list and test on a sly dish on 28e and check bbc and itv etc

Your always covered by ebay cause i looked at that one as well so if you cant sort it send it back LOL

Just an update on this I got the box reflashed it with another fw which is compatible with these dm800hd clones and bam picture is perfect not one glitch like it was advertised or anything. Best ?58 I spent as this box was beeing sold as not working
