sat dish advice please

Hi all

New to the sat game i am interested in purchasing a sat dish dont currently own one.

have been looking and would like to ask about the
TRIAX 110cm SOLID POLE MOUNT DISH
[TD110] TRIAX 110cm SOLID POLE MOUNT DISH 1.1m SATandCABLE



what i would like to know is would i be capable of picking up the Thor 5 (0.8W) satellite in the liverpool area? with a dish this size? or would i need something bigger/better?

does anybody own one of these dishes if so are they any good?

I have a Technomate TM-5400 CI PLUS PVR -reciever

any good

well i got a triax 1.1 td so you should have no problem
getting 1w
I use a darkgold lnb .1 but get similer results with
icecrypt .1 slighter lower with technomate .2 and lemon .2
all in all a good choice also got a orbital 1mtre slightly lower on performance so stick with triax

yes that dish will be fine but c+ is not open now only digi tv on 1w

You dont need a dish that big..90cm would do but if you want to motorize your dish then the dish is ideal!
