    No one remember the Satpac Video scrambling system used by Filmnet in the late 1980's i had one of those decoders as well as the videocrypt stacked on top all plugged into an amstrad SRX200 LOL

      yes m8, my dad had the fimnet box, a two view box , sr200 with separate krypt box connected together, and also the 400 and 510 boxes. also the old bsb boxes (ferguson ?) that were converted to d2mac when b s b collapsed

      there is no doubt it was more complicated back then, with less channels and many hurdles to overcome, phoning up ppl for "c*des" etc too

      as for signal strength and quality strengths, in my experience its pointless comparing them as each box has its own parameters
