Ok so im looking for a new sat box which is good value for money please share your thoughts, i currently have amiko alien 2 but not keen on it ??

cheapest are openbox/skybox varients for ?50ish, the ferguson ariva is another good one for about ?70ish. then theres a vu+solo/dm800 clone for about ?100 or a tm5402,dm800hdse clone for around ?130. theres closed source and linux and they will all run softcams/ethernet connection with varying degrees of success... regards mdt

I have an alien 2 & i am quite happy with it.

But if you do some searching for the other boxes, those prices mentioned above are not too far off the mark.
