Digitv - thor

Hi just got a few questions regarding the digitv package Digi TV on Thor 5 & Intelsat 10-02 at 0.8?W - LyngSat on thor i have got a technomate 5400 reciever and 110cm dish with motor

would this be enough to get access to the Digitv package on thor (with patched reciever)?

might seem like a stupid question but im new to all this should the reciever be picking up channels like -
nova sports, sport Klub Hungary when i scan the thor satellite?
because none of these channels are found after i scan the sat.

in the menu for the technomate reciever the sat comes up as thor 2/3 but when i scan that sat im not getting nova sports etc am i doing something wrong?

want to be able to view the sports channels on the digitv package.

any help would be apperciated.

No you seem to be doing everything ok and have all the equipment, i have the 5400 as well and had to rescan a few times before i got all the channels try doing a blind search that should do the job.

Manual scan the transponder or advanced search, whatever its called...

Use advanced search but try using the specific frequencies for use with the diablo as I had trouble at first.
