will a normal sky dish work for hotbird 13e?? help

hi there im about to try my standard sky dish on the hotbird sattelite does anyone know if it will work ? or do i have to get a bigger one ,thanks in advance.

It will work but you'll get drop out of signal in the slightest shower, better invest in an 80cm dish m8.

sky dish

yeah sky dish will work on hotbird never had a problem need to be a 60cm tho been an installer for years bro

60cm do work fine on several satellites including hotbird or astra or hispasat, but the mini dishes may have troubles

Might depend on where you live but for how much an 80 dish would cost i wouldn't bother then again get yourself a motorized setup best of both worlds.
