Cheapest method would be a Chinese sat meter off the fleabay... These are essentially a free view box in a small package, with a small tv screen... Just tune to a signal you know is on the sat you want, and voila!
These are about ?60... A "real" meter will be ?300 and up!

too be honest mate, i installed my setup with a cheapy sat meter for about a tenner and used dishpointer site to figure out approx directions too whichever sat i wanted and also used a compass to help...

if its a one off install that might work out cheaper for you, but will take longer to install tbh

i suppose it all depend on your needs mate!

If it's a one off, a view of the tv works... It's not ideal, but works.
