Has anyone tried one of these in a Dreambox 800hd?
Another question are they any good in a smart tv for accessing the likes of BBCiplayer.

Never tried that variety of Stick only ever setup the Vu- Dongle that worked well, I cannot see it being a problem as long as the image you have on the 800 has the driver support for the chipset which it should have.

I would also assume that you would have to check with your Smart TV as well to see if compatibility is a known issue as i know the likes of LG, Samsung and Sony like you to use there own branded version which is not cheap
