    Iptv

Although not a sat question I need some advice from sat users who also have knowledge in the iptv scene.
I'm thinking of adding another feather to my bow and going down the iptv route to complement my Sat set-up.

It would be used to solely used to watch English football and be something that's going to be open source that expandable.
I've seen all the iptv boxes on eBay and can't work out whats worth what.

Any info would be much appreciated.

I am not 100% up on these but from doing a little research a while ago most of the Football ones seem to be the cheaper variety with just a pre-config inside with access to a streaming server so maybe the box's are around ?30-?50 and the software added later.

Where as a few available from the Bay look to be better specced running android which will allow you to add apps, The key thing is though can you buy a very good IPTV box and purchase the Football streaming as an aftermarket upgrade, Thats one thing i have not yet seen

Personally , i would like to be able to buy say an android tv box or apple tv box & use my online ADMC player on those.

I believe it can be done on the Apple tv box by changing the dns server but not sure about the Android tv box.

I also have my dedictated IPTV box with ADMC channels loaded (these are full time channels not just the online player thing that comes on just before kick off)

Yes i have the IPTV & the online player sub.

But i would sell the IPTV box if i knew i could just use my online player account on an Android box.

It can be done on Apple TV, I use my ipad to stream adsports app to my tv and the quality is great. Don't need to change any dns settings, just AirPlay it via your iOS device and should work fine.

My Android tablet ADMC app worked perfect last Saturday.

                  As did my Iphone App.

I had two games showing on the different devices at the same time.

                      Re: Iptv

You can use a proxy on pc or android device if geo blocked, not sure about ipads and apple devices though.
