which box and easily set up

t sly box,,,with easy setup Hi,, need some help deciding on a box that works with SLY, I previousley
had eurovox and starviews wen I was with vermin but now sly. I have a
dish and currently paying subs with provider(sly)). Looking 4something
easyish to setup I set up and flashed starviews b4 so any info greatly
appreciated. Thanx alot

skybox f3 is cheap and cheerfull but limited, tm5402hd or blade 7000 runs epg for 28.2e. you must realise that these boxs are fta only on [email protected] unless you plug them into your router and add a special file which you will have to find yourself as we cant discuss were to here on dk. there are also linux boxs that take more setting up but are more customisable with countless skins,addons,plug-ins ect ect but for a top line one your talking ?300 to ?400 although there are clones available from around ?100. regards mdt

Depends on your budget really as to what most people could recommend, we can start of cheap and cheerful with the Skybox/Openbox still not bad for the price, Then you can step up to say a Blade/Technomate5402 etc... or dive straight into the Enigma2 Dreambox/VU/Technomates which will let you customise everything about the box.

If you need help with any all the ones mentioned have literally there own sub forum on the satellite section with plenty of owners of each model so you wont be stuck with help or advice, Just please remember to refrain from talking about CS and a certain UK provider.

Blade 7000 is easy to set up , forget the cheap skybox/f3 , after having two blow up in my hands and not even blowing the internal or external fuse i would stay WELL away from ....
