either you fix it yourself or you pay for somebody else to do it
obviously sly will charge you if they were to come out and fix it, but as a non-customer they may decline

any satellite or tv aerial engineer could do the job, but its fairly simple to do it yourself using a satellite box to check signal and quality, and its probably not far out anyway

Could be a break in the satellite cable? Or you're boxes tuner could be on the blink? Worth trying another box, if still nothing then I'd replace the satellite cable.. Or at least try it with some new cable through a window to see if that's the problem. Seems unlikely to be your Lnb as you say you have had 2 so only other problem will be "is it pointing where it should be".

Hi Put on a channel and move dish slowly left and right and up and down. If you get a picture then dish is loose and needs to be retightened etc. If no picture then problem with cable/LNB or box. If you are in London i could save you 65 quids.
        Regards.

          dodgy cable

          Hi,

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a cable problem. The cabling was over 12 years old and the outer sheathing looked cracked!. Got a local guy to replace with higher rated cables and hey-presto.

          Good luck though. :-)
