Do I have two satellite feeds?

Hi guys I recently moved into a modern apartment complex and on my services wall plate in the living room I have x2 standard satellite f connectors on it, does this mean x2 feeds for a twin tuner box?? There is a black box in the cupboard with a green LED on it and a satellite feed or feeds going in to it? I would see no other reason for it. I had my box connected to the first connector and worked great haven't tried it on the second connector though as my box is currently dead while I wait on rs232 to flash it..

    I want to buy a vu+ solo2 for dual tuner features ..

    Any help mucho gracious

The problem is with the new builds is the contractors sometimes dont bother supplying the 2 feeds or it could be one is a return feed for another outlet into another room, If its a multi-plate with 2 feeds aerial & Radio and or return then you might be lucky and its connected. Personally been to a few of these and most are left dormant or until someone complains to the service company.

The only way you will find out is connect your box when its working or borrow one from someone.

Hi digicon thanks for your reply! Yes my plate has radio and tv sockets on that same plate! I will certainly try it soon possibly tomorrow. Any idea what that black box is in my cupboard? I didnt think electronics needed to be involved I thought it would all be just hard wired from the communal dish or dishes? Haven't seen our complex dish yet!

Also just to add, there is no sat feed in other rooms, does this mean if I get signal on sat connector 2 I definitely have 2 feeds for sly+ features or can use a dual tuner etc? Thanks!
