Brilliant thanks for the links. Does the dish come with wall mount or would I need to get one?

Also regarding cables, connectors would it be better if I get these instead of installer?

    Many thanks

As i explained previously if you are going to get an installer to do the job for you ask what is included in the price ie: mount, cable & connectors if not you could source the mount yourself maybe to save a little money and even the cable but just beware you would then be asking for an install only price figure in other words just labour.

you may find there is not much in it if the installer supply's the mount cable and connectors compared with just labour cost, preferably if you are willing and to save money as well as the benefit of knowing you achieved it why not have a bash at installing it all on your own or with the help of a relative/mate.

There are plenty of Guides on the forum and loads of members with a wealth of information you could call on if you need too.

      Regards

cable clips and ties will be provided by the installer and id get the installer to provide the mount as you might need T+K brackets depending on your lat/long and line of sight ect. the installer would need to do a sight survey first unless you are certain that a standard L bracket will suffice, regards mdt

          Thanks for the replies guys.

I think i might give it a go and install myself as i can get onto the extension of my house and just work on there.

The wall i will be putting it on is south facing.

I didnt go for the motorised setup sort of talked myself out of it, as most people were saying its really only for the footy etc. I have got a vu+ solo hooked up to my sky dish and to be honest that is all i need. Learnt how to install different images and sort my channels out etc.
