I am a complete newbie on this. Just wondering what everyone means about an "image" being setup on a new PVR??

Image: Firmware or Software file required for receiver to operate some are modified to allow extra features addons etc...
PVR: personal video recorder nearly every receiver has this function ability to record either from an internal installed hard drive or an external hard drive/USB pen drive
