Your last sentence confuses me somewhat.

Can you confirm which satellite you are on as there are no S*y channels on either 23.5a or 23.5b.

Hi. In my TM5402 the satelite at 23.5 east is called 1D3A. You can get groups of satellites transmitting from the same orbital position ie HOTBIRD 7,8,9,10 etc from 13 east. What are some of the channel names you are getting as i suspect you may be on the wrong satellite. Also do you have a motor and if so are you using USALS or 1.2??

      Regards.

You will mainly get just the 23.5? Astra 3B Europe wide beam as it is easily receivable on a 60cm dish anywhere in the UK (Its that strong try a Jam jar Lid)

Yes that is correct the satellite is called 23.5 1d3a and I'm using usals. I'm getting 560 channels which as I say are mainly fta and sky channels ie, sky sports, sky movies etc. I'm also confused :/

Hi Satj. As i suspected you are on the wrong satellite. Its looks like you are on the Sky satellite at 28.2 called FREESAT. Your dish is out of aligment by around 5 degrees. On Freesat i normally get over 800 channels using a blind scan. If using Usals do you get other satellites like Hotbird 13 east and Astra 19.2 east as i dont think you can if you are 5 degrees out. What motor do you have?? Please let us know if you have problems with other sats and if you do it can be resolved by re-aligning the dish or maybe changing your Usals settings.

              Regards.

last post was correct, you are aimed at the wrong satellite which means there is something wrong with the installation or settings as its 5 degrees out. there should be no sly channels on that satellite position so the fact there are means you arent pointing the dish correctly

you should receive the fta channel tv noord on 11914H 27500 when its pointing at 23.5e

Hi satj. I am a bit confused as to what you are actually using ie USALS or 1.2. If you are 5 degrees out then USALS will be out on all satellites. You motor is going too far for the east sats and too short for the west ones ie 1 west will stop at 4 east and 5 west at 0 etc etc.
                    Regards.
