Sorry for being a bit daft with all this. I'm very new to this receiver but i think I should have some special ip settings to unlock more channels. (the settings as showing down below)

              I'm after digitalb,tring sat,nova greek..and any other what i can get.

So,far with the setting as showing above I have manage to clear some (digitalb) encrypted channels..and ofcours lost of channels from Hotbird 13.0E and 19.2E.

I still need to install this files down below before I get a clear picture what this box can do.

does anyone know what cable do I need to buy to connect my receiver to my pc (MY PC is dell xps desktop) to load all this files as showing above.

              Thanks!

if you have access to 19.2e/16e/13e/7e then you should be clearing 13 packages via the blue button unless you are using the id where you would get the greek/osn/add also. your screenshots look ok . enjoy your protek m8, best vfm reciever around imo. regards mdt

if you are clearing some channels then your box is patched already and should auto-update to the latest firmware which is t70 and k54. go into the menu and make sure the auto update is set to on. if your auto-update doesnt work then you can use the webloader to enter the ip addy to update the software manually. regards mdt p.s. the supersport channels have moved to 10.941.v.15000.2/3 on 16east

                    Updated through internet yesterday.

                    The receiver firmware reads: BT: 1.34 SW:T 70 K:54

So,you think that the reciever is already patched?
if so..do I need to change anything on the settings or thats all ok?

The receiver i bought was a second hands one, but I hear that I should have an id for that. Where do I look for that id or shall i ask the seller?

the id,s are very hard to get hold of. as far as i know the team behind the nanoxx/protek boxs gave so many id,s to different satellite dealers to give to their greek customers
but as usuall these id,s are being sold at around ?25-?30 at a time. i dont know where to get one and have never tried although you could look at skywise.tv as they might sell you one. happy new year to you m8, regards m.d.t
