original skybox symbol rate

Has anyone noticed lijitimate skyboxes dont allow symbol rate 23000.. cant scan in stv hd which is mad..ok on duo of course as that allows that.. anyone know of any tricks or is not possible with certain skyboxes.

Cant figure out why the channel broadcasts if there own boxes cant even tune to it.

EDIT: looks like it contractual issues like when stv was the last council tele channel to be added to sky digital way back..

they have always had limited symbol rates whereas third party boxes can have various ones

you can be assured that sky boxes have what is necessary for any channels contained in their epg lineup
