    SKY+ Card pairing

    Hi has anyone had any success using the online card pairing, should you get any feedback to registered email address?
    I paired a card 2 days ago to get recording working on non FTA channels, still not working, page stated few seconds to a couple of Thanks Roy

              re pairing

              reason for pairing lgit, original sky + box hard drive went
              I had another one from a friend who upgraded to HD
              and thought online route would be better
              obviously this forum cant help
              but make silly comments

                  whilst there may have been some silly comments, mine wasnt one of them

                  if you wish to pair the card to the box and you fail to get the result you wanted you should contact the actual broadcaster and they will sort it out for you, thats the point of having their own dedicated helpline to help subscribers do what you wish to get done

                  I had troubles with my legit card when swapping from a single feed box to the plus HD box and it took a few phone calls and they had several attempts to get it right before they eventually did so successfully

                  whilst this is a general satellite forum your question is specific and the people you need to aim it at are the people paid to deal with your issues, namely sly uk and their dedicated helpline

                  that was the point of my reply, ie:- if you have a sly problem , ring them up and get them to sort it out as is your right as a customer

                      You could also try the full installation process on the box with a call-back. You may have to do that as well as the online activation.

                      I too am reluctant to call their premium rate support
