Can I use my PC to view channels with OSCAM, CCAM, etc ?

I have a FireDTV firewire box for my PC, which is essentially a satellite receiver connected via firewire, however I may get a internal satellite box. Can I get a card reader for my PC that uses CCam or OsCam or something ? So I can put my Sly card in the slot and view Sky channels on it ? Without having to get a separate CAM ?

I am a bit confused, as devices like this exist : Satellite Smargo Smart Card Reader but do they work on their own or in conjunction with my FireDTV ? Do they use CCAM etc ?

Or this device too : http://www.pulsat.com/products/Smarg...le-Reader.html

I use to have a Technisat Skystar HDTV satellite PCI card in my PC, also I have a Technisat CAM interface in the same PC.
By using software called "Hadu" I was able to view channels without the CAM interface, but with the CAM interface I was also able to view additional channels because inside the CAM interface was another device called a "Diablo" CAM ( confused ?? I am )
To be honest you are wasting ??? on hardware that can only work if your PC is switched on, you will be much better off getting a Linux based set top box and only needing a PC so you can programme the set top box to open channels. There are subjects we cannot talk about openly on here, so PM me if needed..
