the 6 degree monoblock is no good I"d bracket a 2nd lnb and use a 2way diseqc switch.with 23.5E as prime.you can get so called adjustable monoblocks that cover from 4-15 degrees made by octagon(google octagon flex feed monoblock)but they are not true monoblocks as you still need a diseqc switch for them.if space is tight alps bullet nosed LNBs do the job I"v had 13E,16E,19.2E, on an 85cm dish using those as with normal LNBs the feed horns would get in the way with only 3 degree spacing.
I"ve got to eat my words now as I"ve just tried a 6 degree monoblock on a 1mt dish and with 23.5E as prime(lnb1) and 28.2E on lnb2 and I got 1st class results, with cbs action good and strong but this was on a 1mt dish. so my advise now is try it.but point the dish to 23.5E
no fine tuning was done for the screen shotsLast edited by dick b; 3 April, 2013, 16:40.
